PUNTACANA Foundation promotes Dominican and Caribbean culture through exhibitions, talks, and conferences. The PUNTACANA Galerias is an art exhibition space that hosts regular rotations of Caribbean art.

In 2006, the Dominican-American Culture Interchange Foundation (DACI) was formed with the following mission:

1. To create, promote, compare and advance public awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the values, benefits and advantages that are being and can be derived and enhanced through the interchange of Dominican and American cultures

2. To identify and promote interchanges, among others, in performing arts (stage, screen, dance and music), in the visual arts (paintings, drawings, and photographs), in art and technology, and the environment as well as English and Spanish composition, history, cultural heritage and natural history.

3. To research and publicize Dominican American culture interchanges through exhibitions, lectures, publications, web sites and all other forms of digital communications.

4. To collaborate with cultural and educational institutions in the Dominican Republic and the United States on relevant cultural interchanges.

5. To recognize and include interchanges involving the influence of Spanish, Hispanic, Taino and African culture.
