Punta Cana Carnival
Since 2008, the Foundation has supported Carnaval Punta Cana, a colorful festival for the enjoyment of the local community and visiting tourists. The celebration of Dominican culture is a key attraction for the Punta Cana tourist destination.
The Punta Cana Carnival invites more than a dozen different groups representing different regions of the country to share their traditions and typical costumes. Since it was launched, this celebration has become one of the most beautiful, majestic and organized carnival celebrations in the country.
Christmas Carol Gala
Each year the Fundación Grupo Puntacana celebrates the Grand Christmas Carol Gala, a beautiful tradition that marks the start of the Christmas season for the eastern region of the country. The concert takes place at the Basilica Church of Higüey, where thousands of people enjoy a magical night, including a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the famous maestro José Antonio Molina.
Christmas Bazaar
The Puntacana Village Christmas Bazaar recreates the true essence of Christmas with an unbeatable atmosphere full of music and entertainment for the community and for foreign visitors. The Bazaar is part of the Foundation's efforts to promote recreation, family integration and the promotion of local businesses and commercial proposals in the area.
Festival de Poesía Puntacana
El Festival de Poesía Punta Cana, auspiciado por Fundación Grupo Puntacana y Café de Artistas, se celebra desde el 2015 y es uno de los eventos culturales más destacados de la zona de Punta Cana. Cada año cuenta con la participación de destacados poetas invitados y los alumnos del Politécnico Ann & Ted Kheel y del Puntacana International School, quienes deleitan al público con sus composiciones literarias. Este evento incluye también talleres de creación literaria en dichos centros educativos.
