Grupo Puntacana with The Community
Our community development work extends beyond the Punta Cana region and includes dozens of towns and villages in the Altagracia province. With a significant annual investment, the Foundation has constructed more than 20 social impact projects including sports centers, community centers, playgrounds, nursing homes, schools and rural health clinics. All projects are chosen by consensus and done in collaboration with community leaders and associations.
Caracolí City
Caracolí City is a residential project developed by the Grupo Puntacana Foundation for its employees and surrounding communities. The project offers affordable housing and opportunities for financing. Ciudad Caracolí is conveniently located near our community projects and provides residents with a series of facilities such as a public school, nursery, shopping center, community areas, playground, and sports facilities, among others. The project will have a total of 3,072 two- and three-bedroom apartments, beginning with its first stage of 420 apartments.
Community Safety
The Foundation has made a commitment to strengthening Community Safety through a program that consists of the contribution of land, construction of physical facilities and equipment for the benefit of the National Police, Specialized Tourism Security Forces (Cestur) and the Dominican Red Cross.
Through this program, we have provided equipment, vehicles, and furniture for the National Police station located on the Autovía del Este. These actions contribute to strengthening security in the Punta Cana area, a vital component in maintaining the pace of economic and social development in the region.
